Privacy Policy
EODTOC is designed with strict privacy measures in place. No Technician-generated data (Operations, AARs, etc.) is ever shared from the app to the developers of EODTOC.
No Data Collection or Logging
EODTOC does not collect analytics or identifiers. Any in-app logging is never automatically uploaded or shared with EODTOC's developer. EODTOC's developer cannot view the information a Technician creates or stores in the app.
On-Device Storage
Operations, After Action Reports (AARs), Notes, related metadata, and optional profile information are stored locally on the Technician's device. Sensitive records are encrypted at rest, and encryption keys are generated and stored locally. Those keys are never and will never be logged or shared with EODTOC's developer.
Any export or recovery material created by a Technician using EODTOC must be responsibly managed after it leaves the app.
Data Deletion
Local data can be deleted by a Technician through the PROFILE tab at Data Encryption -> Delete All Local Data. Deleting the app also deletes locally stored data.
Network Access
EODTOC's networking capabilities are limited to rendering maps through Apple Maps and checking the public EODTOC Status page for updates. These requests do not attach any Technician-generated data.
On-Device Intelligence
On supported Apple devices, EODTOC's intelligence features use Apple's on-device Foundation Models framework. Data is processed locally and is never accessible to the developers of EODTOC. On supported devices, Siri AI can pass Technician-initiated commands to EODTOC (e.g. creating Op Events). EODTOC never sends stored Operations or AAR information to Siri AI.
Policy Changes and Contact
This policy may be updated as EODTOC changes. The latest version will be posted on this page with a revised update date. Privacy questions can be sent to dev@eodtoc.com.
More information about local encryption and app security is available on the EODTOC Security page.
